This too shall pass. It had to happen. Give him lots of other distractions of comfort.

Poor Ben, and poor you that has to listen to all the fussing. I'm dreading the day we loose Blue the Blanket. I know eventually they have to move on, but I sure love the lovies!!

Poor little guy. I'm glad we never had to go through that. He'll thank you when he doesn't need braces.

Dear Ben,
It's too bad I don't live closer because I think your parents are mean. I would totally give that thing back to you. I know you wouldn't take it to Kindergarten so it would only be for a few more years....
Lots of Love,
Autumn

P.S. Make sure you give mommy and daddy lots sleepless nights...maybe they'll give it back.

He did great today in nursery without it, and he looked like such a big boy! I am very proud of you, it may even be inspiring me to get rid of Sam's. I told myself when we got back from our trip and he gets back in to a regular schedule. I'm really just putting it off... let me know how it goes...

He really does look so grown up without it! What a cutie! Hopefully it doesn't take too long??

Hey Lisa, it's been a while since this post, so hopefully the worst of times are over. I just wanted to let you know that if you need me to, I can take Autumn OUT. I work with so many kids who have speech/dental problems because of prolonged use of pacifiers....and that's the key, they are to PACIFY children, not to plug up their mouths for extended amounts of time. Blankies...perfect vices, they don't cause any medical issues that I'm aware of. Anyway, good luck and lots of hugs and support.
